My name is Derrick, and I have been working in the freight industry for over 15 years. My journey started long before that — with my first ride in my uncle’s big rig, at the age of 9 on a trip from Chicago to Atlanta. Back then, truckers relied on pay phones and atlases to get around, and that adventure sparked a lifelong passion for trucking.

 

I began my career in the industry working for a beverage distribution company, doing local deliveries around the Chicagoland area, but it just didn’t satisfy me. I knew I wanted more, so I started my own company and worked my way up with my first small parcel delivery truck, then a local day-cab, and finally, my own big rig semi.

 

I am proud to say I have moved freight safely and reliably — without a single incident. For me, trucking is much more than a business; it’s a true passion. I am committed to building lasting relationships with my clients, founded on honesty, professionalism, and trust. These core values drive everything I do.
